Lamezia, steps forward towards Waterfront and tourist port: agreement signed for maritime works

Lamezia Terme – Operational activities continue regarding the Waterfront Project and the new Tourist Port promoted by Lameziaeuropa. In recent days, an important preliminary collaboration agreement was signed between Coipa Italia spa, RINA and Lameziaeuropa spa aimed at activating a full strategic and operational collaboration with RINA for the definitive and executive design of the maritime works included in the project of the new tourist port of Lamezia Thermal baths. This is based on the technical-economic feasibility study already prepared by Coipa and in the event of the award of the tender that will soon be announced by the Municipality of Lamezia Terme pursuant to Legislative Decree 50/2016 art.183 paragraph 15 for the construction of the first lot. functional with about 50 million entirely private resources.

“The desire expressed by Coipa to make use of a great partner such as RINA, already present for years in the Lamezia area as promoter of the Matelios District, and leader in the design of tourist and commercial ports at an international level, for the development of all the works at sea. In particular, the signed agreement provides for assistance to Coipa by RINA for the purpose of completing the authorization process for maritime works and the selection of the company in charge of carrying out the works with relative control and monitoring of the progress of the works. .
