Almost two years ago, reality TV stars Antonia Hemmer and Patrick Romer became a couple: Antonia applied for the 16th season of “Bauer sucht Frau” after seeing the call from hobby farmer Patrick on TV. After some back and forth, the two got together after filming wrapped and still are to this day.

This is not a matter of course, because they have been in a long-distance relationship since the beginning. The family business where Patrick works is located on Lake Constance in Baden-Württemberg. Antonia, on the other hand, lives and works in Hanover. The two separate a stately 700 kilometers. For Antonia and Patrick, this means that they have to commute regularly.

At some point they want to move in together and live on Patrick’s farm. When that will be is not yet certain for the couple, Nevertheless, Patrick is already preparing Antonia for an emergency.

Antonia Hemmer: That’s life on the farm

Antonia is clear: if one day she and Patrick should decide moving together, they are going from Hanover to Lake Constance. After all, Patrick can hardly move to the capital of Lower Saxony with his animals from the farm.

And when the time comes, Antonia will have to prove her qualities as a farmer. So that this works without problems, the trained make-up artist is already helping with the farm work – even if not always entirely voluntarily. She revealed to “Promiflash”:

“When I’m there, I’m pushed to the limit and have to do everything – whether I want to or not.”

She made it very clear on Instagram some time ago that life on the farm is anything but easy. Here’s how Antonia honestly let her community know last April: “Life at Patrick’s is really no picnic. I feel like there are 40 hours in the day and we just got so much done today.”

At the same time, she emphasized that she did not mind the work and stated: “Life as a farmer definitely suits me.”

From “Farmer Wants a Wife” to “The Summer House of the Stars”

Antonia and Patrick were able to test what it’s like to live together under one roof. Until recently, both were in front of the camera for the new season of “The Stars’ Summer House”.

In addition to Antonia and Patrick, seven other celebrity couples are involved in the RTL format: Ex-jungle camp candidate Kader Loth and Ismet Atli, ex-football pro Mario Basler and Doris Büld, “DSDS” cult candidate Cosimo Citiolo and Nathalie Gaus, ex-“Celebrity Big Brother” candidate Eric Sindermann and Katharina Hambuechen, YouTuber Marcel Dähne and Lisa Weinberger, soccer players Sascha Mölders and Ivonne Mölders as well as former “AWZ” actors Stephen Dürr and Katharina Dürr.

The principle of the show: All couples live together in a house for several weeks in a small space. At regular intervals, games are fed up and little by little the household has to decide which couples have to move out. The winning couple can look forward to being named “Celebrity Couple of the Year” and receiving 50,000 euros.

After his scandalous Oscar appearance, Will Smith is said to be planning a big comeback. At the Oscars, comedian Chris Rock joked about Smith’s wife’s hair loss due to an illness, prompting Smith to slap him in the face on stage. The acting star later apologized publicly and withdrew for the time being. But now he apparently plans to return to the limelight with a film.
